Our partners

Our funders

Creative Estuary is supported by The Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). In early 2019 the University of Kent was awarded £4.3m from the DCMS Cultural Development Fund on behalf of the partners. More information about the fund can be found here. Match funding has so far been secured from Kent County Council, Medway Council and Ebbsfleet Development Corporation. Additional fundraising is ongoing to enable us to fulfill our aims.

Professor Karen Cox, President, University of Kent

“The University of Kent welcomes the investment from the Cultural Development Fund as it reflects our commitment as a Civic University to work in partnership with organisations locally, regionally and nationally to support activity which brings resources into the region, enables economic growth and contributes to long term sustainability and quality of life in the region.”
