CREATIVE ESTUARY CO-COMMISSIONS EVALUATION: ICE CREAM VAN INITIATIVE

Through three artist-led workshops, Dartford Arts Network (DAN), developed in partnership with local organisations a summer programme of artistic education, engagement and research to map the arts opportunities (and barriers) in the local area, and explore the need for a mobile art vehicle, which could take arts events and opportunities to the places where they were most needed and wanted.

Salamagundy ’22’ gave 8 Emerging Producers the opportunity to produce a public event for a lead artist and Turner Contemporary and undertake field trips to experience and learn about cultural production.
