Square Pegs Arts are an award-winning charity based at The Brook Theatre, Chatham. We have been offering high-quality Theatre and Arts opportunities for learning disabled and neuro-diverse people aged 7-25 in Kent and Medway for over 15 years, including drama groups, singing and song-writing projects, an accessible film club, dramatherapy and a professional Theatre Company.

We are passionate about celebrating difference, challenging perceptions and promoting diversity, access and equality across Kent & Medway. Working with key local and national partners we want to support development and growth in the sector and raise the profile of disability arts in Kent & Medway.

This commission supports the development of a new Disability Arts Network for disabled arts organisations and artists across Kent & Medway. We are mapping, research, partnership building and consulting with the sector and will organise an online Disability Arts Network launch event that is accessible and relevant, offering space for support, learning and growth. This will take the form of an online conference and will take place early 2022.
