Arts Outburst’s work involves bringing people together from across the community to develop skills, empower individuals and groups whilst improving the self-worth and well-being of all of our participants using the arts, culture and creativity as a vehicle to achieve this. They aim to develop civic pride and ensure that participants have an excellent first experience when dipping their toes into the Arts.

Throughout May 2023, Arts Outburst will invite the people of Thurrock to Get Creative in Grays Town Centre. They hope that by celebrating arts and culture for the month and offering a consistent flow of creative opportunities will encourage the surrounding community to reach out for creative opportunities that are sitting on their doorsteps.

The arts are alive and they are empowering. The arts are welcoming and can be a safe space for everyone.
