The Port of Tilbury Open day on 25th June, 11 am – 5 pm, where several activities associated with Essex Cultural Diversity’s co-commission will be taking place.

On the day of the event, the Time Will Tell actors will be in various costumes related to the story of migration, travel, integration, and the Ten Pound Poms, collecting stories from the local community. The characters be in various locations, including the old train station ticket office area, docking stations and Jetty, talking to the public about the project and handing out flyers for the two performances in August.

In addition, Artist Lata Upadhyaya will be displaying Ten Pound Poms suitcases in the main Baggage Hall; ECDP has commissioned Lata Upadhyaya to make work related to the co-commission.
