Ideas Test and Creative Estuary are working together with established artist Patrick Walls on Hidden Lands – our co-commission at Milton Creek Country Park in Sittingbourne.

The project explores the relationship between people and places and develops public art interventions that encourage interaction and engagement. Community interaction is an essential part of Patrick’s practice; from the initial stages of the design process, through consultation, to the finished outcomes.

With this co-commission we wanted the community to co-create a piece of quality art that will be used by park visitors for years to come.

Hidden Lands will showcase the exploration of the Sittingbourne’s history and ecology along Milton Creek through the lens of its local community, capturing the essence of one of Sittingbourne’s hidden gems.
