Overview:

Join host Jo Crowley in conversation with other established Estuary Producers (speakers to be announced) to explore what it means to produce performing arts along the Estuary. How do place and space influence our practices? As Estuary Producers, how do we shape the performing arts in our region? What is distinctive about producing here, now? Jo Crowley is an Independent Theatre Producer who has produced over 40 productions, tours and projects for independent artists and companies presented in 48 countries across 6 continents.  Jo’s producing specialism is in hybrid, collaborative and international performance and she is interested in artist led, cross art form contemporary theatre, dance and live art.

She is Executive Producer for 1927, Co-Director of the Total Theatre Network leading the Total Theatre Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and co-initiated and is Co-Programme Director of Another Route International Fellowship programme, a new programme for England based performance artists to internationalise their creative practice. Other independent Artists and Companies Jo has collaborated with to create work with include Kazuko Hohki, Ridiculusmus, Cartoon de Salvo, The Gogmagogs, Guy Dartnell, Blind Summit, Kristin Frederickson, Look Left Look Right & The Suitcase Royale.

Jo is on the Board of Directors for Theatre Deli and Bootworks, is Chair of Bryony Kimmings Limited & Co-Chair of Arcade. Jo was runner up for Arts Foundations Arts Producer Award and has twice been short-listed for the ‘Hospital Club 100’ List of the most influential people working in UK culture.
