On Sunday 29th May 2022, DAN will hold a FREE public arts workshop as part of Dartford’s Jubilee events. It is the first in a series of public engagement activities across the summer in Dartford and surrounding areas led by Dartford Arts Network and funded by Creative Estuary.
The workshop is part of the overall Ice Cream Van project, which looks at arts mobility along the estuary, but this event will more specifically focus on artist-led activities which encourage artistic engagement with nature.
We have commissioned artist Nicola Claxton to run engaging, creative sessions between 12-4pm where participants will be able to explore the park and the creatures within it, make their own clay animals to take home, and learn about art and nature.
