Orange Pattern A one-night Variety Show curated by Turner-Prize-winning artist Mark Leckey at Margate’s Dreamland. The title Salamagundy comes from the culinary term for a dish made of different ingredients – much like a mix tape – a concept reflected in the diverse selection of artists and acts that will perform. The event was co-produced with eight local young people, selected as part of Creative Estuary’s Re: Generation 2031 programme, providing employment and skills development and the opportunity to shape the production of Lecky’s upcoming exhibition at Turner Contemporary.

The commission funded 22 creative practitioners to perform at public events.
Salamagundy ’22’ gave 8 Emerging Producers the opportunity to produce a public event for a lead artist and Turner Contemporary and undertake field trips to experience and learn about cultural production.
