Applause Rural Touring has teamed up with Creative Estuary and Mercury Theatre to provide seed funding for the development of new creative works to seven artists.

The purpose is to support artists from the early stages of research, development and creation of new outdoor performance works.

Applause works with artists and communities to bring exceptional arts to familiar local spaces. Applause offers these professional, exciting and unique performances to a range of promoters including small village fetes and community events (who benefit from a touring subsidy) as well as larger established events and festivals.
